How to purchase certificates of electrical safety

Energy Safe Victoria:
  • by phone via the ESV's IVR system
  • by mail: send a completed application form with a money order or your credit card details
  • in person: bring your completed form to Level 3, Building 2, 4 Riverside Quay, Southbank, or ESV offices at Nunawading and Ballarat.

The ESV has appointed approximately 200 agents who sell certificates across Victoria, which include electrical wholesalers, inspection companies and NECA:

When you purchase certificates, individual certificate numbers are recorded against your registration or licence number and are not transferable to another person.
