Electrician (Supervised) Worker’s (ES)

This licence is only available to people who have previously held a B-Grade licence and have continued to renew their licence every five years.

An Electrician (Supervised) Worker’s licence is issued for a period of up to five years and entitles the holder to carry out all electrical installation work in Victoria under the supervision of a licensed electrician.

This licence must be renewed on time in order to be retained.

If a person does not renew this licence type, eligibility is then required for the Supervised Workers licence.

Fees

Refer to ESV’s Licensing fees page for each licence type.

The application fee for licenced electrical inspectors includes a $70 non-refundable administration component.

The application fee must be paid at the time the application for a licence is submitted. Credit card payments are preferred.

Renewing an Electrician (Supervised) Worker’s licence

ESV will send a renewal notice to the last known address at least two months prior to the expiry date of the current licence.

It is your responsibility to ensure your licence is current and ESV has your current address and contact details. Renewal must be completed prior to expiry, otherwise your licence will be cancelled.

Read more about renewing a licence or replacing a licence.

Renew your licence via ESV’s online services once you receive your renewal notice.
