FAQs – Cathodic Protection
Do I have to create a new user account and password?
If you have previously registered Cathodic Protection Systems online with ESV, you will have created an account in ESVConnect at that time.
You may be required to create a new password – one that is more secure, with numbers, and a mix of upper and lower-case letters after ESVConnect is relaunched.
Will ESVConnect for CPS registrations be different?
Yes, you will notice various changes to the homepage screen, including a new left hand side menu and generally a refreshed look and feel.
The way you register cathodic protection systems will not change, although there will be more tabs on the homepage than previously.
Will ESVConnect for CPS registration be offline during the upgrade?
Yes. ESVConnect will be offline for the registration of catholic protection systems, from Thursday 27 June to Sunday 30 June.
During that time ESVConnect will be upgraded to include new functionality. In addition to registration of cathodic protection systems, new functionality for Certificates of Electrical Safety (COES) purchase and lodgement, REC registration and electrical worker licensing and renewal will be available on ESVConnect.
