Electrolysis and Cathodic Protection Regulation
Energy Safe Victoria is responsible for the protection of underground and underwater structures from the corrosive effects of stray electrical currents – Electrolysis. We do this by registering Cathodic Protection Systems (CPS) and monitoring responsible entities for compliance to their obligations under the Electricity Safety Act and the Electricity Safety (Cathodic Protection) Regulations .
