You can request to be linked to your organisations Cathodic Protections system by emailing ElectrolysisMitigation@energysafe.vic.gov.au.
You must include a signed letter stating your affiliation with the organisation.

Email ElectrolysisMitigation@energysafe.vic.gov.au with your requested changes, including the application number (G20-xxxxx).

Cathodic Protection System (CPS) database searches are now available online at ESVConnect.
To conduct a search of ESV's CPS database:
- Go to ESVConnect
- Enter the CAPTCHA code.
- Scroll down and select: Public search – CPS database. You can search the database here.

To clarify the application process, email ElectrolysisMitigation@energysafe.vic.gov.au.
Include drawings indicating transformer rectifiers, ground beds, and the structure being protecting with any isolations.

All prescribed Cathodic Protection Systems are required to be registered. A prescribed Cathodic Protection System is described in the Electricity Safety (Cathodic Protection) Regulations 2019. See Electrolysis and cathodic protection.
