System outage – online certificate system

We are back online.

ESV’s online certificate system (including IVR) is operational.

UPDATE @ 8:50am Monday, 4 June: the COES and IVR system are now back up and running.

Thank you for your patience. We apologise for the outage and for the time taken to find a solution. We are confident that the issue has been resolved and the system is back to full capacity.

UPDATE @ 4:20pm Friday, 1 June: We have identified a solution – it is currently being tested.

We expect the online certificate system to be fully operation Monday morning.

For the time being, please do not attempt to use ESV’s online certificate system (including IVR).

UPDATE @ 1:35pm, Friday 1st June: we are currently testing a fix we have in place. However, it will be sometime before we are confident that the system will be operating in full capacity.

Note that paper certificates can be purchased from wholesalers (or agents) and issued to customers.

We will keep you posted as the day goes on.

 

UPDATE @ 4:00pm, Thursday 31st May: our technical support team are continuing the work to repair the system.

We have found a corruption in the database that is stopping the system from functioning as it should. At this stage, we are unsure if the identified corruption is the only problem, or if there are further issues that will need to be addressed to get things up and running.

What is believed to be a data corruption in our online services, is affecting:

  • certificate system (COES);
  • licencing database; and
  • the IVR system.

All these services remain offline.

ESV is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We will update you as further information comes to hand.

 

Please be assured that no-one will receive penalties from ESV for late lodgement as a result of this outage.

Paper certificates can be purchased from wholesalers (or agents) and issued to customers.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your patience.
